Department Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Department of Communications include media relations, publications, Web site maintenance, special events, interaction with the leadership of the Association and community outreach. The department maintains relationships with media contacts on the national, regional, state and local level. The Department of Communications also works closely with all MAG departments in implementing internal and external communication plans. In addition, we maintain files of press clippings involving the Medical Association of Georgia and related health care issues.
