The Department of Government Relations represents MAG members in the legislative and regulatory arena. The department establishes and implements an agenda designed to maintain and enhance the practice environment of Georgia physicians. This agenda involves representing MAG members in the following areas:
- Georgia General Assembly
- Georgia Congressional Delegation/White House
- Constitutional Officers
- Governor's Office
- Regulatory Agencies
- Health Care Practitioner Boards
- Grassroots Activities (Blast e-MAGs/fax, key contacts, Web site, etc.)
