Mission Statement
The mission of the Physicians' Institute for Excellence in Medicine, Inc. is to improve patient safety and achieve clinical improvements for Georgia physicians and their patients.
Goals
- To provide information and tools to private practicing physicians that assist physicians in private practice to continuously improve outcomes and care processes;
- To sponsor research, education and evaluation initiatives, focusing on practical methods for improving the quality of medical care.
- To collaborate on quality initiatives and to share information as appropriate with external bodies, including the business community;
- To provide a forum for Georgia physicians to assume a role as a catalyst for medical practice improvement.
