Carter Center to host mental health forum on May 12
The Carter Center Mental Health Program is encouraging physicians to register to attend the 22nd annual ‘Rosalynn Carter Georgia Mental Health Forum,’ which will take place at The Carter Center in Atlanta from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, May 12.
The program will feature an “an update on the settlement agreement between the U.S. Department of Justice and the State of Georgia; the Georgia Beck Initiative: Building capacity, transforming lives with recovery-oriented cognitive therapy; and a discussion on child and adolescent mental health issues within the state of Georgia.”
The cost to attend the event is $25, which includes lunch. The registration deadline is May 5. Call 404.420.5165 with questions.
