MAG Institute for Excellence in Medicine
The MAG Institute for Excellence in Medicine is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) affiliate of the Medical Association of Georgia.
The MAG Institute maintains two programs, the MAG Medical Reserve Corps (MAG MRC) and HealtheParadigm.
The MAG MRC is the nation’s first medical society-sponsored statewide volunteer Medical Reserve Corp. With the approval of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Medical Association of Georgia, and the Georgia Department of Public Health, MAG MRC is creating a highly trained team of volunteer healthcare professionals and support personnel ready at any time to be deployed by the Governor of the State of Georgia to provide short-term assistance to a local healthcare system in the event of an emergency. | Learn more
HealtheParadigm provides a mechanism to improve health care quality, coordination and efficiency through the exchange of health information at the point of care. Through a collaboration of health care organizations, HealtheParadigm utilizes a secure electronic network to stream health care information for health professionals and patients.
