AMA, ADA, CDC & Ad Council launch prediabetes campaign

The American Medical Association (AMA) has teamed up with the American Diabetes Association, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Ad Council to sponsor a prediabetes public service campaign.

The ‘Best Minute of Your Day’ campaign is designed to get adults who are between 40 and 60 years old to take a one-minute online prediabetes risk test. It is available in both English and Spanish.

AMA points out that, “More than 84 million American adults have prediabetes, but nearly nine of 10 people don’t know they have it.”
