Compass PTN to host free 'max pay in 2020' webinar 

The Compass Practice Transformation Network (PTN) is encouraging physicians in Georgia to register for a free ‘How to Maximize Payment in 2020: Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCCs) and Risk Adjustment Factor’ webinar/teleconference’ from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17.

Compass PTN says, “Participants will be able to: Discuss the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services purpose for the Risk Adjustment Factor; Explain the Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCCs) code model; Discuss common HCCs and; Describe how best to properly reflect your risk adjustment factor through documentation of care provided.”

It also notes that, “The Georgia Hospital Association Research & Education Foundation is accredited by the Medical Association of Georgia to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Georgia Hospital Association Research & Education Foundation designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category1 CreditsTMPhysicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.”

Compass PTN is asking participants to send an email that includes their name and email and telephone number to Debbie Schmitz at dschmitz@gha.org by Thursday, April 12.
