Emory to host IM review/update conference in July

The Emory University School of Medicine’s Department of Medicine is encouraging applicable physicians and allied health care professionals to register for the “44th Annual Comprehensive Board Review and Update in Internal Medicine” that it will host at the JW Marriott Buckhead in Atlanta on July 20-24.

This course is a comprehensive review of internal medicine, and it is designed for physicians who are preparing for the ABIM certifying or re-certifying exams. It is meant to provide board relevant updates in the management and treatment of the spectrum of diseases that span all the sub-specialties in internal medicine. In addition, non-medical specialties like neurology and dermatology will also be reviewed – as they are needed to care for medical patients and as questions on these topics are asked on the ABIM examination.

The conference will also serve as an excellent overview for practicing internists, family physicians, and others who are interested in refreshing their knowledge in internal medicine.

Tuition is $1,275 for physicians, $775 for allied health care professionals, and $525 for residents and fellows.
