Emory to host hemostasis/thrombosis CME event on 11/9
The Emory University School of Medicine will host a ‘Clinical Practice Updates in Hemostasis and Thrombosis’ CME event at the Emory Health Sciences Research Building at 1760 Haygood Drive in Atlanta on Saturday, November 9.
Emory notes that, “Community hematologists and oncologists generally receive little formal education on the diagnosis and management of hemostatic and thrombotic disorders. As a result, many patients with bleeding disorders have a delayed diagnosis that leads to morbidity and mortality.”
This event is designed to “provide practitioners with information on the diagnosis and management of inherited and acquired hemostatic and thrombotic disorders along with new medication updates. Diagnostic and therapeutic approaches will be explored via interactive case discussions.”
