Emory to present annual women & heart disease event
The Emory Women’s Heart Center will present its ‘12th Annual Women and Heart Disease Conference’ at the Hyatt Regency Perimeter Villa Christina in Atlanta from 7:30 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. on Saturday, August 18.
Emory says the ‘Evolving Concepts and New Therapies program’ will address “PCOS and Risk for CVD; Fibromuscular Dysplasia; Surgical vs. Trans catheter aortic valve replacement; Treatment of Hyperlipidemia in Women Across the Life Cycle; Peripartum Cardiomyopathy; Coronary Artery Chronic Total Occlusion: Surgical vs. Percutaneous Treatment Options.”
The event’s intended audiences include “cardiologists, primary care physicians, internists, hospitalists, endocrinologists, gynecologists, nurses, PA/NP, and providers interested in women’s health.”
The cost for physicians who register before August 1 is $120.
