Georgia POLST to host conference on September 13

The Georgia POLST (Physician Orders For Life-Sustaining Treatment) is encouraging physicians and allied health care professionals in the state to register for the ‘2018 Georgia POLST Conference,’ which will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Atlanta Buckhead from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 13.

The organization says that the event is an “exciting opportunity to learn about ongoing advance care planning initiatives in the state and to exhibit at an event attended by a large contingent of health care representatives in Georgia. Attendees enjoy networking with our conference participants, representing hospitals, hospices, ambulatory practices, state agencies, and long-term care programs throughout the state.”
