Georgia Senate honors Indran Indrakrishnan, M.D.

The Georgia Senate passed a resolution to “honor and recognize” Medical Association of Georgia member Indran B. Indrakrishnan, M.D. “for his outstanding work.”  

S.R. 364 says that Dr.  Indrakrishnan for “has devoted his life to treating and raising the awareness of colon cancer and other gastroenterological diseases” and that he “was the first physician of Asian heritage to be appointed by any Governor of Georgia to serve on the Georgia Board for Physician Workforce.” 

Dr. Indrakrishnan is a clinical professor of medicine at the Emory School of Medicine in Atlanta, and he has a private gastroenterology practice in Lawrenceville.
