Gov. Kemp issues order calling for Georgians to practice social distancing/sanitation  

Gov. Brian Kemp has issued an executive “shelter-in-place” order that calls for “all Georgians to practice social distancing and sanitation in accordance with this Order and guidelines published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.”

There are exceptions for residents or visitors who are “engaging in essential services” or “working in critical infrastructure” or “engaging in minimum basic operations” or “performing necessary travel.”

The executive order will remain in place until at least Monday, April 13.
