Lt. Gov. Cagle discusses health care on latest MAG ‘Top Docs Radio’ episode
Georgia Lt. Gov. and gubernatorial candidate Casey Cagle discusses his views on health care and the role of physicians in the latest episode of the Medical Association of Georgia’s (MAG) ‘Top Docs Radio’ show.
“I launched Georgia's Health Care Reform Task Force to reduce costs, increase access to quality care, and strengthen the doctor-patient relationship,” says Lt. Gov. Cagle. “We are focused on market-oriented policies that promote patient choice, better health insurance options, improved access to necessary services, and all-around higher quality care.”
He also stresses that, “We want to reduce the burdensome requirements that prevent physicians from giving each patient the individual attention they deserve."
The primary elections will take place on May 22, while the general election will take place on November 6.
MAG sponsors two ‘Top Docs Radio’ episodes per month. Between downloads and live listeners, the program has reached more than 78,000 listeners – which includes people in all 50 states and 84 countries.
MAG’s ‘Top Docs Radio’ show is supported with a grant from Health Care Research, a subsidiary of Alliant Health Solutions.
