MAG among groups expressing concerns over new CLFS payment system

The Medical Association of Georgia is one of more than 50 physician organizations that signed a letter that was sent to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that addressed the new payment system for clinical laboratory testing services paid on the Clinical Laboratory Fee Schedule (CLFS).

The letter expresses “serious concerns that Medicaid beneficiaries in a number of states are on the verge of losing access to clinical testing services, including convenient and expedient in-office testing services.”
