MAG signs letter to oppose VA APRNs proposal

The Medical Association of Georgia is one of nearly 100 physicians’ advocacy organizations that signed a letter that was sent to the Under Secretary for Health at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to call for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) to “preserve the highest quality of care and protect the safety of our nation’s veterans and not move forward with a proposed rule” that would “permit all VHA-employed APRNs to practice without the clinical supervision of physicians and without regard to state law.”
