MCG to host ‘Medical & Surgical Approaches to GI Disorders’ CME event on July 15-19

The Medical College of Georgia (MCG) at Augusta University is sponsoring a ‘Medical and Surgical Approaches to GI Disorders’ CME event that will take place at the Kiawah Island Resort in South Carolina on July 15-19.

Description: Join us for 5 days of CME for health care professionals who treat GI Disorders.

Objectives: The symposium should prepare participants to…

–Review advances in treating disease commonly seen by gastroenterologists and GI surgeons
–Outline practical, evidence-based approaches for diagnosis and management of GI disorders that reflect advances in treatment
–Discuss challenges and controversies in managing the patient with GI disease

The course emphasizes audience participation in informal case-study sessions. Participants are encouraged to bring interesting cases for discussion at breakfast roundtables with the faculty.
