Vision Commission to delay MOC report process by several days
The Vision Commission has informed the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) that it will delay submitting its draft report on ways to reform maintenance of certification (MOC) until December 12. The Vision Commission says that it will consequently accept public comments on the draft report until January 15, 2019 (vs. an original January 12 deadline).
The Vision Commission is scheduled to submit its final recommendations to ABMS and its Member Boards on February 1, 2019.
The Vision Initiative website – visioninitiative.org – allows physicians to “actively engage in the process through a dedicated section for feedback and input.”
