DPH encouraging physicians to review COVID FAQ summary  

The Georgia Department of Public Health is encouraging physicians and allied health care professionals to review its ‘COVID-19 and Patient Care – FAQ for Healthcare’ summary.

This resource addresses how patients should be assessed for exposure to COVID-19, the signs and symptoms of COVID-19 infection, the incubation period for COVID-19, the expectations for an individual who is isolated or quarantined, the difference between COVID-19 tests, recommendations for when health care and non-health care workers should return to work, “back-to-school” guidelines, and travel guidelines.
