Free virtual ‘mental health in pediatric PC’ CME activity scheduled for Atlanta area physicians

The REACH Institute (Resources for Advancing Children’s Health) is encouraging physicians and allied health care professionals (i.e., pediatricians, family physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants) who practice in the greater Atlanta area to register for a free virtual ‘Patient-Centered Mental Health in Pediatric Primary Care (PPP)’ CME activity that will take place on January 7-9, 2022.

The course “includes a three-day, interactive virtual session plus 12 case-based group learning calls scheduled bi-weekly over six months.”

The REACH Institute is a non-profit organization that is “dedicated to ensuring that the most effective, scientifically proven mental health care reaches all children and families.” It “provides thousands of primary care providers, therapists, and health care institutions with training in the best evidence-based therapies in order to better diagnose, treat and manage mental health issues.”
