GCCN establishes fund to support Georgia free/charity clinics

The Georgia Charitable Care Network (GCCN) has established a ‘$30K in 30 Days’ GoFundMe campaign to support free and charity health care clinics in the state. The funds will be used to support the clinics with their technology needs and to obtain supplies.

The campaign website stresses that, “As the coronavirus sweeps through the United States, closing schools, businesses, and even government offices, the nation’s free and charity clinics remain open for business. In Georgia, where nearly 100 of those clinics serve tens of thousands of low-income and uninsured patients annually, the need is severe and growing every day.”
