GCCRT to host annual forum at Winship/Emory on March 10

The Georgia Colorectal Cancer Roundtable (GCCRT) is encouraging applicable physicians and allied health care professionals to register for its annual forum, which will take place at the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory in Atlanta from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10.

GCCRT says that this is “an opportunity to collaborate and network with leaders in the area of colorectal cancer prevention across Georgia.”

The event will feature a keynote talk by Robert Smith, Ph.D., the vice president of Cancer Screening at the American Cancer Society. It will also address “what the current data is telling us, real clinical successes to increase CRC screening rates, foster collaborations…”

GCCRTs goal is to “increase [colorectal cancer] screening rates to 80 percent in every community.”
