HRSA to make $25+ billion in new relief funds available

The U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) will make $25.5 billion in new funding available for health care providers who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The U.S. Health and Human Services Department (HHS) has also announced that it will institute a final 60-day grace period to help providers who fail to meet the September 30 deadline for the first PRF Reporting Time Period. HHS says, “While the deadlines to use funds and the Reporting Time Period will not change, HHS will not initiate collection activities or similar enforcement actions for noncompliant providers during this grace period.”
