The MAG Alliance is a network of physicians’ spouses who volunteer to “improve the health of all Georgians – with an emphasis on children.” It supports a number of important initiatives, including the MAG Foundation’s ‘Think About It’ campaign to reduce prescription drug misuse, the ‘Make Georgia Hands-Free’ campaign to reduce distracted driving, and the Georgia Department of Public Health’s ‘SHAPE’ program to promote youth fitness. MAG Alliance membership costs $25 per year, which helps offset the cost associated with meetings and social functions.
