New ‘Top Docs’ features Georgia House Democratic Caucus Leader

The latest edition of the Medical Association of Georgia’s (MAG) ‘Top Docs’ show features Georgia House of Representatives Democratic Caucus Leader Rep. Robert Trammell (D-Luthersville) addressing the resumption of the Georgia General Assembly, COVID-19 and other key health care issues, the state budget, and the need for criminal justice reform. 

Rep. Trammell discusses…

Rep. Trammell serves on numerous committees, including the House Appropriations Committee. Having spent time with King and Spalding, he started his own law firm in 2003. Rep. Trammell also served as the county attorney for Meriwether County from 2011 to 2014. He describes himself as a, “Husband. Dad. Democratic Leader in the Georgia House. Country lawyer. Lectionary reader. [And a proponent of a ] LCHF (Low Carb High Fat) Diet.”

Between downloads and live listeners, ‘Top Docs’ has now reached more than one million listeners and viewers – which includes people in all 50 states and more than 80 countries. MAG has won two awards for the show, including an American Association of Medical Society Executives Profiles of Excellence Award and a Health Information Resource Center Digital Health Award.

‘Top Docs’ is supported with a grant from Alliant Health Solutions in memory of Tom Williams, its former CEO.
