PCOM Georgia students recognized for MAG rotation

PCOM Georgia is recognizing two its students – Vash Patel and Yassmin Shariff – for completing a four-week public policy rotation with the Medical Association of Georgia (MAG).

“It was a real honor and a pleasure working with Yassmin and Vash during their MAG rotation,” says MAG Executive Director Donald J. Palmisano Jr. “I have a greater sense of optimism knowing that we have medical students in Georgia who have a genuine interest in the overall health care system and who understand the vital role that organizations like MAG play when it comes to the state’s practice environment and the policy-making process.”

Patel and Shariff spent much of their four weeks interacting with MAG staff, physicians, and state legislators at the State Capitol.
